With 600 m/656 yards per 100 g this singleply yarn is right inbetween lace (800+ m /100 g) and fingering weight (400 m /100 g) - that's what is so exiting about it, as it is suitable for scarves, shawls, a delicate lace project or a leightweight garment like the featherweight cardigan. It can even go into the washing machine! It has a really beautiful, clear stitch definition - the yarn structure is close to it's "little sister" Tosh Merino Light. The colours develop an incredible brilliancy on this yarn.
When knitting especially the darker colourways some colour residue might stick to your hands. This is neither toxic nor will it affect the yarn, but it can be avoided by washing the skeins with a splash of vinegar prior to knitting. This is also recommended when knitting with different colourways to prevent bleeding.
